Educational Philosophy/Vision:

"If you study to remember, you will forget, but, if you study to understand,

you will remember." -Anonymous

I once had a student call me a tough love teacher.  I totally agreed with her.  I love my job and my students but I have high expectations for them.  As long as a student does his or her very best, puts forth 100% effort, then that student will pass and succeed.  I believe that learning is as much about the process as it is the product.   I tell my students on day one that I will lead you to the learning, but it is up to them to do the actually thinking and work.
