About Me:

I am originally from Valley Stream, NY (Long Island).  I have been married to my beautiful wife Sandra for three years.  We have a beautiful 2 year old Pit-bull named Zero.

I am a big superhero/comic book and Anime fan! I ran the first and last Anime Club at KIS and hope to continue the club at KMS.  I will be an Assistant Football Coach this year at KMS.

I am very excited to be teaching my fourth year of 6th Grade Math and Science at KMS!

I attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) and received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (K-6).

Educational Philosophy/Vision:

I believe that every student is unique and capable of learning.  I believe students succeed when they are engaged in hands-on activities, working cooperatively in groups and when they take full responsibility/ownership of their own learning.

How Can Parents Help?

1. Check your child's agenda for homework or any other important pieces of information.  Students will keep an Interactive Math Binder; this will be a great resource to use as students complete their homework.

2. Open communication with your child's teachers is key to their success, so stay connected through Remind to receive messages about Homework, Field Trips or messages about your child's day.  Click on the Stay Connected Tab to sign up with Remind.

3. Make sure your child is coming to school prepared each day with their materials (pencils, binders, notebooks, etc.) as well as coming in with a positive attitude.  A positive attitude can make the difference in your child's performance throughout the day.

Contact Info:
