Overcash, B

Welcome to My Classroom!

My name is Bradley Overcash and I am incredibly excited to be back in my hometown and teaching at KMS this year! This is my first year as a teacher in a K12 environment, but I spent the previous 4 years facilitating a college transition program for teenagers with high-functioning Asperger’s at both Queen’s University and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The students here at KMS are amazing and I have loved every moment of having them in my classroom! If you need anything, feel free to contact me by school phone at (704) 932-4102 or by e-mail at brad.overcashkcs.k12.nc.us.

College Attended/Degrees Earned:

University of North Carolina at Charlotte
B.S. in Public Health 2015

Educational Philosophy/Vision:

We are all teachers and we are all students, I can learn as much from my students as they can learn from me. Allowing my students to have a voice is something that I am truly passionate about.

What the students will be learning:

In my classroom, I will be teaching the students the importance of effective communication, team-building, core values, and soft skills. All of these subjects used with self-discovery and interests exercises aid in developing their character and exploring career choices.
