I believe that a teacher needs to create a safe and welcoming environment. I will always encourage my students to ask questions and speak their minds in order to have them feel more comfortable in their own skins. I know that students learn in different ways. It will be my job to differentiate my lessons to accustom various types of learners, so everyone has the proper platform to succeed. I believe that not every child will pursue a career in social studies. However, I am convinced that the lessons and skills they will learn will help them in different facets of life.
