Educational Philosophy/Vision:

I believe every child has the ability to succeed and to do great things. I hold all of my students accountable to high behavioral and academic standards in the classroom, and I will always provide the necessary tools and supports for students to achieve these goals. I believe in working together and showing honor and respect to each other. Teaching good character is an integral part of the educational experience. Students must learn to be respectful, honest, kind, and compassionate in addition to all the other knowledge they will get in my classroom. I know that together we will accomplish great things this year and become the best versions of "us" that we can be.

Things parents & guardians can do to help:

Check your child's agenda every night. Students will keep up with their homework, due dates, projects, assessments, and other important upcoming reminders in the agenda.

Sign up for Remind.
Remind is a great way to be updated about what's going on in our classroom. It is a must! Information to sign up for remind is in the syllabus. Please email me with any questions on how to sign up.

Check the science website.  All classroom information can be accessed on this link: Student Interactive Notebook. NOTE: Your child must be signed into their KCS account through google Chrome in order to access this site. Any requests for access by parents will be denied. If your child is absent, please see this website for any missing work.

Ask me questions! If you ever need anything please contact me. I am available to help you and your child with any academic needs.

Keep your contact information current. Has your information changed? Be sure to email me and let me know you're new information.
