Educational Philosophy / Vision:

I truly believe that with a little effort, a little determination and a lot of grit, anyone can learn something new.  I am here to help any and all students learn their "something new" each day.  The moment knowledge is grasped, claimed as one's own, and the light bulb comes on is pure magic.  It is a gift not only to the student but to me as well.  Those are the moments I strive for in my classroom.  Those are the moments I relish.

Things Parents / Guardians can do to help:

Parents / Guardians, check in with your student.  Ask them how things are going at school, in classes, with friends and teachers.  Check their agendas and ask about grades and homework.  Sign into Parent Portal and know how your student is doing with grades and potentially missing work.  Take just a few moments to let them know that you truly do care about how they are doing in school.
