About Me: I've been at Kannapolis Middle since 2001. I'm in my 18th year of teaching. I am a Reading Specialist. I am also Certified in Learning Disabilities at the Undergraduate level.

Be sure you are checking Power School regularly.

Personal Vocabulary journal is due each Wednesday. Be sure to refer back to the example we did as a class in Google Slides to make sure you have completed your vocabulary correctly.

Things parents/guardians can do to help:
Make sure your child is reading at least 30 minutes each night and writinghis/her weekly reading responses. These can be turned in at any point during the week, but must be completed by Friday. Post these on Canvas or send by Gaggle email. 

Ask your child to show you their personal vocabulary in Google Slides.
