"Education is the shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents with high expectations"
It's the new year and also almost time for a new semester. Students were reminded in meetings with student services and administration of the importance to do your best and become involved in school.
The new building is coming along as scheduled. We are constantly planning for a smooth transition to adding sixth grade to KMS next year. The Administrators at both schools are meeting together and visiting each other’s schools to meet students and teachers in anticipation of next school year.
It is not too late for students to get involved with extra curricular activities this year. We have added Future Farmers of America (FFA) and an art club to the list of clubs we have available. Students can continue to sign up for these as well as YCI, Juniorettes, Student Council and chess club to name a few. The clubs provide opportunities for students to be with others that share an interest and complete community service projects that benefit local charities. When students become involved in school they learn more about themselves and each other.
Remind your child to take advantage of the opportunities they have while in school. Our teachers work very hard to provide engaging and challenging activities for students. Encourage your child to do their best, ask questions, and to make good decisions. We can all work together to provide the best opportunity for children.
Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to educate your children.
